Photos From The Flood
These experimental Polaroids are inspired by the family photos recovered from my parents’ house flood in the summer of 2016. Many of the photos were ruined, but the way the colors had smeared and the images had distorted created haunting abstractions. Through various methods of destruction during development, I was able to capture a similar feeling of beautiful decay in this photo series.
